safety and quality.
The distinctiveness of Venchiaredo can be attributed to the overall production chain that allows for implementing, together with producers, effective strategies with a strong focus on quality.

The supply chain model consists of an integrated production system in which the company directly controls all stages, from the production of the raw material to the distribution of the finished product, through the Company’s distribution partner Emmi Italia.
By controlling the entire production chain, Venchiaredo is able to put into practice, together with producers, highly focused models strongly oriented on the excellence of the “milk” product.
The supply chain model facilitates, on one hand, the best use of Friulian milk, thereby protecting the territory and its agricultural heritage, and on the other, to achieve high quality standards, in addition to providing consumers with a product harvested, processed and distributed by minimising the environmental impact of the entire cycle.

The Company owes its success to the close collaboration with the Venchiaredo Cooperative of Milk Producers, which guarantees a unique product in terms of taste and qualitative characteristics.

Since its early days, Venchiaredo has implemented a company policy focused on attaining high standards in terms of the quality of the raw material, its true business strength. Great attention is devoted to the search and selection of livestock, which every day must adhere to strict quality protocols.
From the production of milk, organised in a co-operative structure with an average daily contribution of approximately 70,000 litres per day, to the industrial processing of the product, the Venchiaredo supply chain relies exclusively on the Friulian territory. A region with a deeply rooted agricultural vocation, proudly tied to a heritage of centuries-old traditions and ancient history, evidence of which can be found everywhere.
The Venchiaredo Cooperative is composed of approximately 70 members (with an average of 100 heads / farm), concentrated primarily in the provinces of Pordenone and Udine. In their barns, the Italian “Red Spotted” cattle breed is particularly widespread, traditionally bred in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, breed that is characterised by the qualitative yield of the milk, in turn also closely tied to the high quality of the corn and fodder produced mainly on local farms.
The requirements concerning raw materials are defined by strict supply specifications to which Venchiaredo S.p.A. subjects all its suppliers, consolidating the Company’s commitment in pursuing objectives focused on quality and on the safety of products obtained. All milk processed by the daily plant is subjected to strict controls on the individual supplier farms and at the time of delivery to the plant. For such activities, the Company relies on a structure of laboratories (internal as well as external to the plant), equipped with the latest analytical equipment.
